Nutritional Content Identification of Local-Based Foods for Pregnant Mothers' Nutritional Needs

Pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (CED) are likely to have an increased risk of fetal death (stillbirths), premature birth, congenital disabilities, low birth weight infants (LBW), and infant mortality. CED also contributes approximately 40% stunting incidents in Indonesia. This study aimed identify the nutritional content local-based food consumed by pregnant women. research was carried out 3 stages; first, a descriptive approach analyze local foods. Second, quasi-experiment conducted see effect consumption. Third, qualitative explore consumption patterns be conducted. The results showed that type Acehnese wet containing high energy, water, minerals, protein, fat carbohydrates. can used as alternative for support their requirements. present found significant change mid-upper arm circumference gain after consuming food. Overall, staple foods often rice, cassava Indomie instant noodle because they accessible affordable families. complementary Inappropriate increase deficiencies among women, which will short-term long-term consequences on health. Abstrak: Ibu hamil dengan kekurangan energi kronis (KEK) cenderung memiliki peningkatan risiko kematian janin (lahir mati), kelahiran prematur, cacat bawaan, bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR), bayi. KEK juga berkontribusi terhadap sekitar kejadian di Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan gizi pangan berbasis lokal yang dikonsumsi ibu hamil. dilakukan dalam tahap; pertama, pendekatan deskriptif menganalisis lokal. Kedua, kuasi eksperimen melihat pengaruh konsumsi Ketiga, kualitatif menggali pola dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis makanan Aceh adalah basah mengandung tinggi, air, mineral, lemak dan karbohidrat. Makanan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif menunjang kebutuhan gizinya. menemukan perubahan signifikan pada lingkar lengan atas penambahan badan setelah mengonsumsi basah. Secara keseluruhan, pokok sering nasi, singkong mie instan karena mudah didapat terjangkau oleh keluarganya. khas bisa pendamping Pola tidak tepat meningkatkan akan berdampak jangka pendek panjang kesehatan.
